Obituary

Shaffer, Hedy M., 69, Windber, died Saturday, May 18, 2013, at Memorial Medical Center.
Born November 14, 1943, in Windber; she was a daughter of the late Walter and Anna (Hudak) Wadas. She was also preceded in death by a son, Ronald G. Shaffer Jr.; a sister, Sandra Lowry, brothers, John and Greg Wadas.
Survived by husband, Ronald G. Shaffer, sisters, Mary Ann Ream, Patricia Becker, both of Windber, Constance Updyke of Johnstown; many nieces and nephews,
Mrs. Shaffer enjoyed crafts, sewing and Pittsburgh Steelers football.
A memorial mass will be held at 1030 Thursday at Elizabeth Ann Seton Cemetery Chapel E. Rev. Leonard E. Voytek,V.F. officiating.
