Obituary

FAUST – Janet Aneta (Raymond) 86, Johnstown, died Monday, November 16, 2009 at Windber Hospice. Born Feb. 6, 1923 in Homer City; daughter of the late Ralph and Mary Rebecca (Sickenberger) Raymond.

Preceded in death by brother, Robert N.; and sisters, Naomi Ryberg-Wilson, and Jean Palmer. Her passing ends a marriage union of 62 years to her loving and devoted husband, Joseph E. Faust.
Survived by son, Arthur David Faust, Johnstown; daughters, Diane Jo, wife of Perry Guy, Wilmington, NC; Deborah Jean, wife of Robert Osborne, Leland, NC; Denise Louise, wife of Roger Bock, Johnstown;
Grandchildren, Dustin Lovrich, Roger Bock, Joseph Bock, and Nick Osborne. Also, brothers, Ralph Raymond (Natalie), Johnstown; Donald Raymond (Myrle) Susanville, CA; and brother-in-law, Leroy Stutzman.

Janet was an employee of the Accounting Dept. of Penn Traffic. Upon her retirement, she happily persued her many hobbies, including gardening, quilting, reading, traveling, and geneology research. She was a long time and faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She was also a member of the Johnstown Genealogical and Historic Society where she held the position of Treasurer until her death. As a young woman, she was a violinist for the Johnstown Symphony Orchestra.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Pastor Brian Armen officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church and Windber Hospice in her memory.
