Obituary

Howard, Lillian A., 91, Johnstown, died December 13, 2009 at Memorial Medical Center. Born October 8, 1918 in Cleveland, OH, daughter of the late James and Hilda (Buchmann) Weimer. Preceded in death by husband William T. Howard; brother, John Weimer and sister, Gladys Huffman. Survived by son Thomas, married to the former Rita Rosage, Johnstown; grandson William T. and his daughter, Jordan Howard, Pensacola, FL; grandson John D., married to the former Carrie Palm and their daughter Lily Howard, Herndon, VA and granddaughter Kelly S. Howard, State College. Also survived by sister Eileen, married to Robert Shomo, Boothwyn, PA and numerous nieces and nephews. Lillian was retired from Lee Hospital as an RN, a member of Morrellville Church of the Brethren and received an Associates Degree in Nursing from Mt. Aloysius College. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm Wednesday at the Hindman Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 146 Chandler Ave, where service will be held Thursday at 11am. Rev. John Manges, officiating. Interment, Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the church.
