Obituary

LAIRD -Margaret Elizabeth, 89 Johnstown, died December 24, 2008 at Memorial Medical Center. Born May 20, 1919 in Johnstown, daughter of the late Otto Sr. and Anna (Robel) Becker. Preceded in death by husband Fred C. Laird and these brothers and sisters; Louis Becker, Otto Becker Jr., Robert Becker, Albert Becker, Anna Vargo, Florence Kidd, Henry Becker, Richard Becker and Raymond Herbert Becker. Survived by son Fred C. Laird Jr., Pocomoke City, MD; granddaughter Bobbi G. Burress, Tazewell, VA and great-grandchildren Typhani and Joshua Burress. Also survived by sisters Marie Zwick, Johnstown and Ruth Nonenberg, Huma, AZ and numerous nieces and nephews. Margaret was a receptionist for JL Clark Co. and a member of the Moose Lodge in College Park, MD. A memorial service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church on Saturday, April 18th, at 10:30 a.m. Intern Pastor Jerri Morton officiating.
