Obituary

MATTES Margaret L. 89, Johnstown, died July 10, 2011 at the Palliative Care Unit at Memorial Medical Center. Born July 15, 1921 in Johnstown; daughter of the late George and Mary (Mayer) Baum.

Preceded in death by husband, Charles Mattes.

Survived by children, Kenneth Mattes, Robert Mattes and wife Barbara; and Marcia Mattes, all of Johnstown; grandchildren, Greg and Kelly Mattes; and great grandchildren, Katie and Davy.
Member of Calvary United Methodist Church.

She was retired from Penn Traffic Co. and worked as a secretary for Bishop McCort High School.

At the request of the deceased there will be no visitation. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc. 1521 Frankstown Rd. Committal Forest Lawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Calvary United Methodist Church in her memory.
