Obituary
Fetterman, Phillip E. Sr., 68, of Jerome, died Friday April 18, 2014, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.
Phillip was born August 9, 1945, in Punxsutawney; he was a son of the late Henry and Doris (Kelly) Fetterman. He was also preceded in death by siblings, John Fetterman, Nora Waltman, Marty Fetterman, Karen Fetterman, and Goldie Jean Moody.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years Denise (Stull) Fetterman, children, Phillip Fetterman Jr and wife Joni of Windber, Steven Fetterman and wife Faith of Kane, Crystal Fetterman of Windber, Karl Kelly of Johnstown, Karlena Kelly of Portage, Kory Kelly of Altoona; sisters, Marsha Maranville of Maryland and Pat Brown of New York; and 12 grandchildren.
Phillip was a US Air Force Veteran serving during Vietnam. He worked as a machinist at Ingalls Shipyard for 18 years in Pascagoula, MS. He also held various farm and machinist jobs including working at Master Machine in Windber.
He was an avid outdoorsman and family man. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the Jerome Rod and Gun Club.
There will be no viewing.
A memorial service will be held Thursday April 24th at 1pm at Calvary United Methodist Church, 1800 Stockholm Ave. Windber, PA. 15963.
