Fry, Robert Martin, “Pappy Cal”, 81, Mundys Corner, went to Heaven to be with our Lord and Savior, June 15, 2013 at Memorial Medical Center. Born December 1, 1931 in Dilltown. Preceded in death by parents, Cecil M. and Rhoda Roselen Fry; brother, Cecil M. Fry Jr. and daughter Judith (Fry) Gillin. Survived by loving wife of 62 years, Joan (Daniels) Fry; loving pet, “Penny and horses, “Silver Dollar” and “Cow Boy”; daughters, Sandra (David) Patrick and Sharon (Robert) Hegedus; son-in-law, Fred Gillin; grandchildren, Robert (Kelly) Hessler; Heather (William IV) Naugle; Matthew (Sally) Hessler; David (Noelle) Patrick; James (Amber) Shuman; Alisha (Patrick) Beamer and Anna Hegedus. Also survived by great-grandchildren, Jake Hessler; Sara Patrick; Nathan Hessler; Haylee Beamer; Kaitlin Hessler; Zach Hessler; Breanna Patrick and Jaxon Shuman; sister, Dorothy Schneider; brothers, Gene Fry and Randy Fry and sisters-in-law, Mary Jane Malakos and Betty Lou Nelson. Bob was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and will be sadly missed by his family and friends. He devoted his time to his family and raising horses. He was a Korean War Veteran and a retiree from Bethlehem Steel Corp, Car Shop Division and from the Nanty-Glo Police force. At the request of the family, there will be no viewing. A private service will be held.
