Obituary

Pribish, William S. “George” 58 Bon Air died February 25, 2012 at Memorial Medical Center. Born April 17, 1953 in Johnstown. Son of the late William R. and Catherine (Zahurak) Pribish. Preceded in death by mother in law Lillian (Brezovec) Vautar and brother in law Boris Banda.

Survived by wife Lee Ann (Vautar) Pribish and these brother and sisters; Cathy married to Andy Smolnik of Syracuse, NY, David “Tash” and wife Janet (Mundok), Rita married to Paul Freiwald, John married to Jo Carol (Naugle), George married to Beth (Keslar) all of Bon Air. Also survived by father in law Laudi “Lud” Vautar of Conemaugh brother and sisiter in laws Jim and Lucy Pribish of Bon Air, Jim and Cheri Vautar of East Taylor, Loraine Banda of East Conemaugh, and John Vautar of Woodvale. Also loved by numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Member of S.S. Gregory and Barnebas Parish Bon Air, S&PJ Club, Conemaugh Eagles, Conemaugh PNA, Woodvale AC, Golden Rod Sportsmen Club, and a 1972 Graduate of Conemaugh Valley High School.

George enjoyed the outdoors and nature with his family loved camping and fishing, gardening, and playing Santa. George always helped family and friends and was very generous with his time. Retired steel worker for Freight Car America, former employee of the DCNR where he worked at Prince Gallitzin State Park, and was a former employee of Turgeon Construction and Community Action Head Start. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Tuesday at the Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc. 1521 Frankstown Rd. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am Wednesday at S.S. Gregory & Barnebas Church Bon Air Fr. Robert L. Ruston officiating. Committal Grandview Cemetery.
