Obituary

Kisel, William J., 78, Johnstown, died May 28, 2012 at home. Born April 2, 1934 in Johnstown, son of the late Andrew and Mary (Davis) Kisel.

Survived by wife of 57 years, Bernadine (Martin) Davis, Johnstown; sons, William K., married to Sharon Pascovich, Elton and Thomas Kisel, Johnstown. Also survived by four grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren and sister Helen Frey, Johnstown.

William was a coalminer for Florence Mining; a member of Greater Johnstown Christian Fellowship; he loved to hunt and fish and was a great fisherman.

At the request of the family, there will be no viewing. Friends are invited to a memorial service at 11am Wednesday at the Greater Johnstown Christian Fellowship. Pastor Gary Tustin, officiating.

The family would like to send a special thank you to the nurses at the cancer center; the Conemaugh Hospice and Dr. William Wynert.
