Obituary

Schatz, Alice E. “Tootie”, 83, East Conemaugh, passed away at home surrounded by her loved ones on January 13, 2024. Born April 25, 1940, in Johnstown to the late Charles R. and Ellen (Boring) Stewart. Also preceded in death by her grandson, Jimmy Schatz. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, James L. Schatz. Also survived by children, Ellen (Mike) Schatz, Charlie (Natalie) Schatz, Jamie (Donald) Keim, Cheryl (Dan) Rorabaugh, James Jr (Jodie) Schatz; and Bob Schatz; and sister, Debbie Stewart. Alice had 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Alice was a homemaker, and she was proud of her home and family. She loved to go shopping. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
