Obituary

Penrod, Amelda P., 85 of Richland Township, went to be with the Lord on May 4th 2013. Born on January 15, 1928 in Johnstown. Daughter of Albert and Ida (Kloss) Rosenbaum. Preceded in death by parents; husband, David D. Penrod, a Korean War Veteran; brothers, Albert; Paul and Phillip; sisters, Katheline Rager and Mildred Gore. Survived by loving and devoted son, Tom and wife Yvette, and cherished grandson, Evan.

Sisters, Anna Miller; Elizabeth (Betty) Yarina and Mary Goas, all of Johnstown and Barbara Angello of Las Vegas.

She was a lifelong member of St. John Gualbert Catholic Church in Johnstown.

She enjoyed seeing and listening to her grandson perform in plays; musical concerts and karate tournaments.

No public visitation , however, relatives and friends are invited to funeral Mass at 1:00 p.m. Saturday May 11th at St. John Gualbert Catholic Church. Private committal , at Mt. Hope cemetery. Arrangements in care of the Hindman Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 1521 Frankstown Rd. “Exclusive Provider of Veterans and Family Memorial Care.”
