Obituary

Arana J. Benyacko, 81, Johnstown, passed May 6, 2026. Born September 19, 1944, to the late Harry and Catherine (Costlow) Cooper.  Preceded in death by siblings, Mildred Principe, Doris Cooper, Richard Cooper, Ronald Cooper, Nancy Peterson, Donald Cooper, and Robert Cooper. Survived by husband, Richard Benyacko; children, David Shaffer (Patricia), Harry Shaffer (Susanne), Christopher Benyacko (Danielle), Matthew Shaffer (Melissa), Scott Shaffer (Phyllis), and Patricia Benyacko; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren. Arana enjoyed bingo, going to Live Casino, and baking. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. There will be no services at this time.
