Obituary

KASECKY – Barbara Jean (Bub), 77, Nanty Glo, died June 15, 2017, at Indiana Reginal Medical Center. Born October 25, 1939, in Mahaffey, daughter of the late Leslie and Dorothy (Dodson) Sheesley. Preceded in death by husband, Francis Kasecky; son, Edward; grandson, Stephen Oblinsky; and brothers, Gary (Barbie) and James (Mary Agnes). Survived by children, Leslie (Michael) Lardner, Nanty Glo, and Michelle (Robert) Sharp, Delaware; grandchildren, Lauren, Ryan, Anne, Nimai, Mary Rose, Jason, and Nicholas; and great-grandchildren, Melina, Leilani, Garrett, Isaac, Elias and Dara. Sister of Patricia (Ronald) Plucinski, Ohio; Cheryl (Thomas) Kuhar, Vintondale; Perry (Patty) Sheesley, Twin Rocks; Chester (Grace) Sheesley, Vintondale; and Thomas (late Karen) Sheesley, Vintondale. Special neighbors and adoptive family, Ernie, Deb, and Sabrina Deyarmin. Barb devoted her life to God, her family, and friends. She will forever be remembered by her smile, beautiful voice, and heart of gold (and her Gobs). She loved singing, baking, cooking, and taking care of everyone, especially children. At the request of the deceased there will be no viewing. A memorial mass will be held Monday June 19th 11am at St. Mary’s Church, Rev. Leonard E. Voytek,V.F. officiating.
