Obituary

Lugar, Barry, 68, died Feb. 27, 2015 at Memorial Medical Center. Born March 3, 1946 in Brooklyn, New York. Survived by loving wife, Patty (Obarsky) Lugar; step-son, Aaron Hecht (Sara); brother, Owen Lugar (Kitty); sister-in-laws, Gloria Chalich (James); Chris Obarsky (Kemory); brother-in-law, Mark Obarsky; and nephews Scott and Peter Lugar; Matt, Dan and Doug Chalich; and Alex and Nick Obarsky. Barry was known for his sense of humor and spirit of adventure. He was very proud of the years he spent attending Southeastern Louisiana University. He loved his three cats and dog, Hershey. At Barry’s request, there will be no viewing. A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cambria County Humane Society.
