Obituary

Petry, Barry “Pete” Ray, 76, Patton, passed away October 9, 2026. Born July 17, 1950, to the late Sanford and Hazel (Kirkwood) Petry. Also preceded death his son Damien Petry.

He was survived by his wife of 52 years, Cindy Lou (Ihli) Petry. Also survived by son, Matthew Petry; granddaughter, Sarah Petry; daughter in-law Jennifer Petry; brother in-law, Pat Ihli; sister in-law, Linda Goodlin and nephew Nick Carpenter.

Barry was a graduate of Johnstown High School. He worked at the Post Office in Roaring Springs for 25 years. He enjoyed watching all Pittsburgh sports and Penn State football. He also enjoyed listening to music and hanging out with friends. At Barry’s request there will not be a viewing or service at this time.
