Obituary

Benjamin Emeigh, 68, of Johnstown PA, passed peacefully March 31, 2026, at home with his loving wife by his side. Born to Dolores and William Emeigh November 16, 1957.

Married for 43 years, Ben put his wife’s happiness first. Whatever you want dear was his motto. They toured the world, crossing every destination off their bucket list. Ben was an avid golfer, even though his handicap would say otherwise. Good drinks and better friends had him spending his days on the course. While not golfing, he was poppy to his little buddies, from having the perfect nook for naps to an unmatched egg sandwich after school. He didn’t know the word no, a jack of all trades, fixer of all problems, helping hand to anyone that needed it. Friend to all. You could hear his laugh from a mile away, you heard him before you saw him. As Ben said, he’ll be 49 forever.

Preceded in death by parents and infant sister, Peggy. Survived by wife of 43 years, Victoria; children, Nichole and Justin; grandchildren, Michael and Liam Garland; and brother, William.

Per Ben’s request there will be no viewing or funeral service. Please join us to celebrate his life Saturday evening April 11, 2026, from 7pm-11pm at the First Russian American Federation, 301 Chandler Ave, Johnstown PA, 15906.
