Obituary

Bernadine (Martin) Kisel, Johnstown, passed away on May 12, 2026, while at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born on August 6, 1934, to the late Earl and Helen (Lohr) Martin. Preceded in death by husband, William J. Kisel; sister, Alice McDowell; and brother, Lester Martin. Survived by sons, William K. Kisel (Sharon) and Thomas Kisel; 4 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren. Bernadine wants to be remembered for her kindness to others and her love of God and Jesus. Per her request there will be no viewing. A private memorial service will be held at a later date at the Greater Johnstown Christian Fellowship, pastor Gary Tustin officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bernadine’s honor to the GJCF, 3429 Elton Rd, Johnstown, PA 15904.
