Obituary

Bennett, Bernard R., 65, Johnstown, passed away February 1, 2019 at Memorial Medical Center. Born November 7, 1953 in Bainbridge, MD. Son of the late Alvy and Ruby (Bernard) Bennett. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Janice (Civis); his son Matthew Bennett; and his brother, Eddie Bennett. Survived by his children, Evin Bennett, Johnstown; Raymond Bennett, Johnstown; Adam Bennett, Fort Bragg, NC; his grandchildren, Ashley Bennett, Aiden Bennett, Aaliyah Bennett, Skylar Bennett; his brother, Dennis Bennett (Susan), Charlotte, NC; and numerous other members of extended family, and friends. Bernard served our country in the United States Army. He was retired from the Local #910 Laborers Union. At the request of the deceased there will be no visitation.
