Obituary

Henderson, Bertha M., 95, Johnstown, died July 21, 2015 at The Villa Personal Care. Born September 16, 1919 to the late James and Catherine (Smith) Gehrett. Preceded in death by husband, James Henderson. Survived by daughter, Judy Grimme and husband Edward; granddaughters, Kimberly Clossin and husband William; Susan (Plummer) Williams; great grandchildren, Dr. Joshua Clossin and partner Dr. Jed Harle; Emily Clossin; Brittany Williams; and special sister-in-law, Cleo Gehrett. Bertha was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church. Bertha enjoyed 24 winters in Florida as a snowbird. She also enjoyed quilting, playing cards and bingo, camping, and doing jig saw puzzles. Friends will be received from 4-8 p.m. Fri. July 24 at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 146 Chandler Ave., where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Sat., Pastor Wendy Henderson, officiating. Procession to Grandview Cemetery.
