Obituary

Moschgat, Carol Leona, 83, Ebensburg, passed away September 27, 2023, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born October 3, 1939, to the late Clifford and Mary (Kovach) Bush. Preceded in death by husband, John F. Moschgat, and brother, C. Donald Bush. Survived by children, John C. Moschgat and wife Melissa; Jana M. Moschgat; Jason E. Moschgat and wife Renee; grandchildren, Sophie, Jack, Noah, Mollie, and Baylie Moschgat; sister, Donna Bowser; and numerous nieces and nephews. Carol was a medical transcriptionist at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. She enjoyed picking strawberries and loved going to the beach and finding seashells. Carol loved her grandchildren and her animals, especially her late dog, Kassie. In Carol’s later years, she enjoyed going to the Ebensburg Senior Center where she made many close friends. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Church of the Brethren, where a viewing will be held Monday October 2nd from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. Donations may be made in Carol’s memory to Pleasant Hill Church of the Brethren, 856 Benshoff Hill Rd, Johnstown, PA 15906.
