Obituary

Reilly, Cecelia V., 87, Johnstown, died Aug. 12, 2015 at her home. Born October 17, 1927, in East Conemaugh, daughter of the late Stanley Nowacki and Anna (Malicz) Kazmierczyk-Nowacki. Preceded in death by daughter Eileen Reilly and seven brothers and sisters. Last surviving member of her immediate family. Survived by loving children, David Reilly (Gayle), Kathryn Solomon (Lou), Janet Cooper (Daniel), and Kevin Reilly (Debra); 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Cecelia retired from Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center as a medical transcriptionist; was a Foster Grandparent for several years and attended Senior Life. Member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Our mother was a kind and caring soul, wonderful compassionate mother, incredibly loving grandmother and great-grandmother who will be missed by all. By her request there will be no viewing or visitation; private interment at Grandview Cemetery. A special thank you to the Conemaugh Regional Hospice staff, and the nurses at 10 Ashman and the Palliative Care unit of Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center; for their kindness and compassion. Our mother loved her little dog Clover. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Cambria and Somerset counties.
