Obituary

Vermeulin, Charles J., 75, Ebensburg, passed away March 8, 2019 at the Pittsburgh VA Medical Center. Born in Spangler, June 25, 1943 to the late Alfred and Edna (Sawtelle) Vermeulin. Preceded in death by his parents, and his siblings, Carolyn and James. Survived by his children, Karen Vermeulin, Galitzin; Tina Springer, Burton, MI; 1 grandaughter; 1 grandson; his siblings, Dorothy, Leo, Thomas, Debra, and John; as well as numerous other members of extended family. Charles served our country in the United States Army, and was a longtime truck driver for Knopp & Klatt. He was a member of the Ebensburg American Legion #363, and also the Legion Riders in Carrolltown. At the request of the family all services will be private.
