Obituary
Taylor, Claudine M., 87, Mineral Point, went to be with the Lord, her savior on July 9, 2026 at Windber Hospice. Born February 6, 1939 in Barnsboro. Daughter of Louis and Gladys (Reighard) Knepper. Preceded in death by parents; loving husband, George R. “Bob” Taylor; beloved son, Richard Allen Taylor; brother-in-law, George Kassick; and nephew, Shawn Kassick. Survived by son, George R. Taylor Jr.; son, James E. Taylor and his wife, Barbara (Reese), all of Johnstown. Also survived by 3 grandchildren and their spouses, Jessica Gallo (Joseph), Shannan Labosky (Thomas “T.J.”), and Bradley Taylor (Sierra); 9 great grandchildren, Zakary, Karson, Christian, Blake, Aarin, Jace, Kyla, Amaya, and Linkin; brother, Paul (Mary); sisters, Betty, Jane, and Debra (Edward); and numerous nieces and nephews. Claudine was an amazing mother, grandmother, sister, and friend and a pillar to her family. She was greatly loved and her love, care, and guidance will be missed by so many. A very special thank you to all the nurses and staff at Windber Hospice for their amazing compassion and care.
