Obituary

Dietz, Jr., Dalton Jack, 71, Johnstown, passed away peaceful at home on February 26, 2025. Born March 5, 1953, to the late Dalton Jack Dietz, Sr. and Mary (Farabaugh) Dietz. Preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Jimmy Conrad; father-in-law, Thomas Conrad; and mother-in-law, Grace Conrad. Survived by lovingly wife, Bonnie (Conrad) Dietz; children, Jeremy Jack Dietz (Nichole) and Justin Conrad Dietz (Mary); grandchildren, Jeremy, Jr., Julian, Kendra, Libby, Tommy, and June; brother, David Dietz (Linda); brother-in-law, Jeffrey Conrad (Pam); sisters-in-law, Jan Kavar, Jean Shepard (Charlie), and Brenda Conrad; nephews, David and Jeffrey; nieces, Kelsie, Erin, and Jessica; and special friend, Herb. Dalton was a member of Turner’s, Conemaugh PNA, Conemaugh Fire Club, Olympic Club, and Conemaugh Eagles. He enjoyed the outdoors, specifically camping and fishing. Above all else, Dalton loved spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his family and friends. The family would like to thank Interim Hospice, specifically nurse Jenna, Reverend Stephanie, and Amy for going above and beyond. Family will receive friends on Monday, March 3, 2025, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Hindman Funeral Homes, 1521 Frankstown Road. There will be additional viewing time held on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, from 10:00am until the start of the service at 11:00am also at Hindman Funeral Homes.
