Obituary

Milchak, Daniel J. “Stubby”, 68, Hastings, passed away Wednesday April 26, 2017, at his home. Born November 8, 1948, in Spangler, PA.; Son of the late John S. and Agnes M. (Endler) Milchak. Preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Janet Ramsey. He is survived by his children Christopher J. Milchak (Rikki), Altoona; Lisa Ann Milchak (Ryan), Pataskala, OH; his granddaughter Lynzee Davis; his great-granddaughter Mykynzee Milchak; his sister Karen Kelly (Raymond), Hastings; and numerous nieces and nephews. Daniel worked in Information Technology, and retired from the McLanahan Corporation, and was doing some consulting work for the Hastings Machine Shop. He was a social member at the Hastings Moose, the Slovak Club in Northern Cambria, and the Rembrandt Club in St. Benedict, where he enjoyed going to shoot his guns, and do a little fishing. He enjoyed golfing, especially with his son, daughter, and brother-in-law, and he enjoyed riding his Harley. He was a loving father grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. A memorial Funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday May 10, 2017 at St. Bernard Catholic Church, Hastings.
