Irwin, Danita Elizabeth, 55, Johnstown, passed away September 10, 2018 at her home. Born June 4, 1963 to the late Sandra Mehalko. Preceded in death by sister, Christine Scott and aunt, Elizabeth Hartman. Survived by fiancé, Doug Yonker; daughter, Jennifer Smith; sisters, Gloria and Stephanie (Mehalko) Templeman; brother-in-law, Bob Scott; one grandson; nephews, Zech and Matthew Scott; nieces, Brittney (Scott) Beiler; Ashley Scott; numerous other family members; beloved friend, Kelly Robisson; and her cats, Pit-Pat and Baby. Danita was a veteran of the U.S. Army. She enjoyed coloring, listening to music, concerts, and traveling. She also liked pizza, cookouts, playing with her cats, and holidays, especially Christmas. Danita was a kind-hearted woman who liked helping people. She had a quirky sense of humor and loved to laugh. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday September 14 at Garfield St. United Methodist Church.
