Obituary

Sarver, David Paul “Dave”, 78, Johnstown, passed away May 28, 2023, at Memorial Medical Center. Born February 27, 1945, to the late Oscar and Lillian (Weigand) Sarver. Preceded in death by siblings, Dolores McFadden, Ronald Sarver, and H. Edward Sarver and beloved dog, Ginger. Survived by loving wife, Carole A. (Seese) Sarver; children, David P. Sarver Jr. and wife Beth; Kristin A. (Sarver) DeVico and husband Todd; grandchildren, Koen, Joah, and Lila Sarver; Isaac and Karlee DeVico; sisters, Donna Holsopple; Charlotte Hofecker and husband Bob; sister-in-law, Bernie Sarver; numerous nieces and nephews; and grandpuppy, Molly. Dave served in the United States Army Reserves and was employed over the years by Bethlehem Steel, Leitenberger’s, Chris Riley – Ferndale Station, and Laurel Chrysler. After retirement, Dave enjoyed watching his grandchildren and being called Pappy Dave by the neighbor kids. At Dave’s request there will be no services.
