Obituary

Kris, David Edward, 47, Davidsville, passed away March 29, 2023, at Memorial Medical Center. Born September 14, 1975, in Johnstown. Preceded in death by mother, Sharon (Clevenger) (Kris) Guyan. Survived by father, Ed Kris and girlfriend Mary Chonko; sister, Misty Kris; girlfriend, Sharon Nelson; ex-wife and friend, Jody Kris and her son, Kody Brotz; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Dave was employed by JWF for 23 years as a multi-skilled machine operator. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, loved music, and old cars, and enjoyed collecting antiques. Dave also enjoyed hunting and fishing with Kody. Friends will be received Monday April 3rd from 3:30 p.m. until time of memorial service at 5 p.m. at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 146 Chandler Ave. Donations may be made in Dave’s memory to Cambria County Humane Society.
