Obituary

Burke, Deborah Ann, 70, Johnstown, passed away June 22, 2020 at Siemon’s Lakeview Manor. Born February 10, 1950 to the late Fred and Ann (Packech) Sauers. Survived by husband, Robert Burke; children, Bob Burke and wife Jennifer; Amy Utnik and husband Chris; and grandchildren, Tristan Burke and girlfriend Chelsea Biss; and Mikayla and Ayden Burke. Deborah was an avid Steelers fan, enjoyed gardening, and loved flowers. She also enjoyed playing Jeopardy with her husband. Deborah was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who put family first and loved spending time with her grandchildren, especially watching them play sports. She was an amazing, and devoted Christian woman. She was also the most loving, caring, kindhearted, and selfless woman you’d ever meet. In her final days she wanted nothing more than to plant flowers with Amy and Chelsea. She was simply in love with the garden they created for her. Friends will be received Monday June 29 from 6-8 p.m. at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 1521 Frankstown Rd. Those who wish, may make donations to Deborah’s husband Robert.
