Obituary

Deloris E. (Hartman) (Berg) Kehl, age 91, passed away June 24, 2025, at Windber Woods. Daughter of the late Carl Hartman and Geraldine (Nelson) (Hartman) Barr, and stepfather, Charles Barr. Preceded in death by first husband, Louis Berg; second husband, Leonard Kehl; sisters, Margaret Wertz (George); Shirley Lester (James); Carlene Worthy (Clyde); stepson, Jeffery Kehl; and son-in-law, Ralph Saylor. Survived by sons, Robert Berg (Carla); Carl Berg (Joan); Richard Berg (Dolores); Charles Berg (Mary); daughter, Lisa (Kehl) Saylor-Burkardt; stepsons, Ronald Kehl (Linda); Larry Kehl (Li Hue); stepdaughter-in-law, Pam Kehl; 9 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; numerous great great grandchildren, step grandchildren, and step great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and beloved fur baby, Gino. Deloris was a lifelong member of Pleasant Hill Community Church and a devoted self-employed hairdresser for over 50 years. Family wishes to thank the staff of Windber Woods and Windber Hospice, especially Danielle Warshal, for their compassionate care. Family and friends will be received Monday June 30th from 10:30 a.m. until time of service at 11:30 a.m. at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 146 Chandler Ave. Pastor Rob Wolf, officiating.
