Obituary

Don L. Myers, 93, Johnstown, went to be with the Lord on October, 20, 2015 at his home.  Born July 10, 1922 in South Fork; he was a son of the late Harvey and Sannie (Gillman) Myers. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Jane (Kocis) Myers; brother, Matt and sister, Lorraine Berkheimer. Survived by children, Donita Breland and husband Carlus of VA, Brian Myers and wife Kimberly of South Fork, Chris Halloran and husband Ron of VA, Alan and wife Kim of Johnstown, Kerry Myers of NC, a sister, Iris Barkley of Sidman; nine grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren. Don was a Steelworker at Bethlehem Steel. He also worked with son Brian at Myers Performance Motorcycle Shop. He was an active member of VFW Post 7524 and American Legion Post 551 where he served as part of their Ritual Team. A Service of Resurrection will be conducted by The Reverend Doctor Robert R. Wagner at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 2nd, at Moxham Lutheran Church, 200 Park Avenue, Johnstown. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Wounded Warriors or Fisher House.
