Obituary

Clawson, Donna M., 68, Johnstown, died March 16, 2014 at Latrobe Health and Rehabilitation. Born May 18, 1945 in Philadelphia. Preceded in death by mother, Anna E. Klink. Survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Terry Gene Clawson, Johnstown; sons, Craig Benton Clawson, married to Kelli Lynn (Wilson), Gahanna, OH and David Sean Clawson, married to Kelly Beth (Singel), Fairfax, VA; grandsons, Aidan Xavier Clawson and Liam Benton Clawson, Gahanna, OH and mother-in-law, Ethel Mae (Cummings) Clawson, Johnstown. Donna was a retired medical technologist for Memorial Medical Center. She received her BS in Biology from the University of Pittsburgh. Aside from her career in healthcare, she was a devoted Mother and Grandmother. Never did a band competition or event her children were involved in go unattended or a Christmas pass without a Lennox ornament from Grandma. Donna was an avid reader and knitter. At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing. Friends will be received from 2pm until time of service at 4pm Monday March 24, 2014 at the Hindman Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 146 Chandler Ave. Nancy Hoover, officiating.
