Obituary

Kiepert, Dora Katherine, 81, of Johnstown, died January 12, 2016, at Cambria Care Nursing Home.  Born December 10, 1934, in Johnstown, daughter of the late Emanuel G. and Elvie S. (Rager) Bowser.  Preceded in death by husband Albert J. Kiepert Sr.; brothers, Clifford, Edward and Wayne Bowser.  Survived by her children, Nancy Hamilton and husband, Keith, of Wappingers Falls, NY; Albert J. Kiepert Jr. and wife, Lori, of Ebensburg; grandchildren, John Lilly and wife, Alicia; and Justin Lilly, all of Wappingers Falls, NY; Alexander N. and Lauren E. Kiepert, both of Ebensburg.  Dora enjoyed cooking and worked in food services for Penn Traffic, Glosser Brothers and Met Life.  She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church.  Dora liked to crochet and loved reading and animals.  Friends received from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc. 146 Chandler Ave., where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Pastor Thomas Kiepert, officiating.  Committal Benshoff Hill Cemetery.  Donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Foundation of America in memory of Dora.  Arrangements in care of Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc.  “Exclusive Provider of Veterans and Family Memorial Care.” Condolences may be made at HindmanFuneralHomes.com
