McQuade-Roseman, Dorothy A., 93, Johnstown passed away on March 17, 2014 at Arbutus Park Manor. Born February 27, 1921 in Windber; daughter of the late Orange B. and Irene (Repine) Wentz. Preceded in death by husbands, Donald Roseman and Andrew McQuade; brothers, Cyrus and Orange Wentz and sisters, Harriet Lohr and Betty Krieger. Survived by children, Jack Roseman married to Patricia (Pavlik), Canyon Lake, TX; Ronald Roseman married to Marilyn (Coyle), Johnstown; Rene married to Ed Luther, Johnstown; Kathy married to Richard Barefoot, Georgetown, SC; grandchildren, Jeff Shumaker married to Deborah (Miller), Savannah, GA; Joel Shumaker married to Stacy (Mickle, Windber; Wendy married to Matt Feid, Mechanicsville, MD; Jill married to Jim Brazill, Johnstown; Jennifer Farabaugh, Ebensburg; Lisa Myers, Tarpon Springs, FL; David Roseman married to Alex (Hatcher) San Antonio, TX; 12 great-grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren, 16 step-great-grandchildren; and also brother, Delbert Wentz, Johnstown.
Dorothy was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church in Geistown and a former supervisor of housekeeping at Windber Hospital. She loved her flower garden and her crocheting. She was a very caring, loving person; always there when anyone needed her. Her life was a life well lived, well loved and a life that will be deeply missed.
Friends received Saturday, March 22, 2014 from 10 am until time of service at 12 noon at Bethany United Methodist Church, Pastor Pat Cleary, officiating.
