Obituary

Hollingsworth, James H. III M.D., passed away on April 14, 2021 at his home in Johnstown, PA after a very long illness. He was 67 years old.

James was born in Little Rock, AR to the late Dr. J. Henry Hollingsworth and Dr. Elizabeth Blaylock Hollingsworth, grew up in Tuscaloosa, AL and then came to Johnstown for the residency program at Conemaugh Memorial Hospital. He practiced medicine until his health forced him into retirement.

James is survived by his wife of 45 years, Dorothy Davis Hollingsworth; his children, Rachel E.H. Parker (Ben), James Henry Hollingsworth IV (Kristen), Thaddeus D. Hollingsworth
M.D. (Melissa), Anna D. Hollingsworth (Brendan), and Sarah Katherine Varner (Josh). He is survived by 11 grandchildren, Elianah, Simeon, Alizah, Samuel, Brittini, Joseph Paul, Emma, Andrew, Ciaran, Matthias, and Thea Rose. He is also survived by his brother, Arden Hollingsworth (Madelene); his niece, Elizabeth Doolin (Tim), and nephew, Joe Hollingsworth. He loved his family and extended family very much.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his grandson, Danial Benjamin Parker.

There will be no services at this time. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be sent to Crossroads Community Church, 1259 Scalp Ave., Johnstown, PA 15905
