Obituary

Lucy Kaufman, born Edith Lou Krumbine, 6/17/44, passed away peacefully at her home on March 11, 2024.  She was surrounded by her husband of 59 years, Gary Kaufman, her children Timothy and Christine.  Lucy was a thoughtful, loving, caring woman, who touched so many lives, and was loved by all that were lucky enough to meet her.  She was a devoted child of God, and is resting peacefully with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  We will continue to see Lucy’s beauty shine, as she spreads the love of God throughout the world.  She is survived by two of her five brothers, many loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, friends, and her pride and joy, Marissa, Cole, Boone, Felix, and Harper, her five grandchildren.  A celebration of life will be held at Oakland United Methodist, May 18, 2024.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the dedicated and loving staff of AseraCare Hospice, 100 CTC Drive, Suite 110, Johnstown, PA 15904.
