Obituary

Kostora, Edwin C., 82, of Johnstown, passed away on July 7, 2023. Born September 15, 1940, to the late Stephen and Ruth (Hillosky) Kostora. Preceded in death by parents; sister, Delores; and brother, Robert. Survived by loving wife, Claire (Boring); children, Amanda Okoney (Robert), Lorraine Irving (Gilbert), and Stephen Kostora (Tami); and grandchildren, Nicholas, Jordan, and Matthew; brother, Arnold; sister, Kathleen; and 4 great-grandchildren. Edwin had received a bachelor’s degree from Madonna University. He retired from General Motors, after 32 years of employment. Edwin was a medic, during the time he served in the U.S. Air Force. He enjoyed watching sports and playing poker. Edwin will be deeply missed by his loved ones.
