Obituary

Gauntner, Elizabeth Jean- 73, of Patton, passed away on Saturday July 16, 2016, at home, surrounded by her loving family. Born April 3, 1943, in Louisville, Kentucky; Daughter of the late Marion and Virginia (Hopper) Farmer. She is preceeded in death by her parents and her brothers David, James, and William. She is survived by her husband, Robert Gauntner, whom she married on August 17, 1958; her children, son William, Emmaus, PA; son Joseph, Friendship, MD; grandchildren, Christopher, Andrew, and Braden; her sisters, Ruth Ann, Martha, and Kathy; her sister-in-law Rebecca Selestok. Elizabeth retired from the United States Postal Service. She was a member of Cambrian Hills Ladies Golf, she loved gardening, baking, and cooking, and she will be greatly missed for her Pumpkin Gobs. At the request of the deceased there will be no visitation. A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on August 17, 2016 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Patton; In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Elizabeth’s memory to the American Cancer Society, or the Patton Public Library.  Arrangements in care of the Easly-Hindman Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., “Exclusive Provider of Veterans and Family Memorial Care.”  Condolences may be made at HindmanFuneralHomes.com
