Obituary

Elizabeth (Betsy) Worthington, 83, Johnstown, PA, entered into God’s loving arms on January 1, 2025, at the Forest Hills Personal Care Home. Born on September 16, 1941, in Johnstown to the late Charles and Mary Lou (Grosch) Wissinger. Preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Worthington and brother, Charles Wissinger (Mary Ann Wissinger). Survived by her sister, Coralie Williams (Bill Williams); her two daughters, Dana (Steve Meeker) and Tara Knapp; and grandchildren, Jerrit Knapp, Grant Meeker, Audrey Meeker, Mason Knapp, and Nathan Meeker. Family and friends will be received on Thursday, January 9, 2025, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the Hindman Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 1521 Frankstown Rd., Johnstown, PA 15902. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, January 10, 2025, at 11:00am at the Church of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 1127 McKinley Ave., Johnstown, PA 15905. Elizabeth will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
