Obituary
Time passes, and so do our loved ones. The truth is their memories and beliefs continue through us, whom they have touched. This is the truth and blessing that this special woman passed onto her family and loved ones. Our beloved mother, Elvira Uadiski, was called to heaven on Thursday, December 26, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born on July 14th,1939. Daughter of Ysmael and Dolores.
Preceded in death by her brothers, Daniel and Raymond. She leaves behind her loving sisters, Irene (John) and Anna.
Survived by her former husband, George, who remained close with her; her devoted daughters, Carrie (Kostis), Natalie (Glen); her son Adam (Barb); her cherished grandchildren, Rose and Cole; and numerous nieces and nephews. Her beloved pups, Teddy and Sammy, were her constant companions who she cherished immensely.
She was an extremely caring and compassionate woman and loved her family deeply. She lit up every room with her beautiful smile and personality. Everyone who knew her was blessed with her kind spirit and sweet, generous soul.
She was especially grateful for all the new friends who provided her with care and compassion during the final chapter of her life.
She embraced life with profound joy, finding happiness in the simple things such as waking up to the sound of the cardinals and other birds bringing in the new day; the hummingbirds sitting on her clothesline waiting to eat at her feeder; bright beautiful flowers, and plants gifted from special friends. She loved classic Hollywood films and was especially an ardent admirer of Elizabeth Taylor, finding inspiration from her elegance, style and grace. She was a gifted cook who poured her love into every dish, making cherished family memories at every meal.
Our mother will be deeply missed by all who had the blessing of knowing her. Her remarkable spirit, beauty, elegance and strength touched the lives of many family members and friends. Her warmth, laughter, faith, and her enduring love for life will forever remain in our hearts.
A private memorial service was held. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital at www.stjude.org in her memory.
