Ethel wore many hats throughout her life, working in a cigar factory, helping the war efforts in a WWII factory making shell casings, worked in a laundromat, and later as a talented seamstress and knitter. No matter where life took her, she brought warmth, humor, and determination to everything she did. She loved riding her bike around town, playing the lotto, and spending time watching the “cars go by” in Coopersdale.
An avid bowler with a love for plants, Ethel found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She was famous for her homemade pies, her infectious laugh, and the way she could make any gathering feel special. Above all, her favorite and most cherished role was being a mother and grandmother.
Ethel had a youthful sprit, zest for life that never faded – she was always known for living life as if she were 21. Her laughter, love and vibrant personality will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew her.
