Obituary

Hess, Fay Muriel, 81, of Glen Burnie, MD, died on October 22, 2014 at her residence, surrounded by family. She was born in Middlesex County, United Kingdom on March 12, 1933 to the late Guy and Doris Norcott. Mrs. Hess traveled to posts abroad with her husband during his military career, settling in the Glen Burnie area in 1967.  She enjoyed gardening, doll collecting, and her many cats. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, James Hess, her two sons Mark Hess of Salt Lake City, UT and Robert Hess and wife Patricia of Germantown, MD, and sister, Maureen Alexander, also of Middlesex. Family and friends received from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday October 29th at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc. 1521 Frankstown Rd. Johnstown. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, October 30th at Pleasant Hill Church of the Brethren, 856 Benshoff Hill Rd., Johnstown, with Rev. Phillip King, officiating. Burial will follow at Benshoff Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please donate to your local Humane Society.
