Obituary

Bracken, Forrest D., 83, Johnstown, passed away May 6, 2024. Born October 11, 1940, in Johnstown, son of the late William A. Sr. and Pauline C. (Intihar) Bracken. Also preceded in death by sister, Wilma Bartis and brother, William A. Bracken Jr. Survived by his wife of 50 years, Linda F. (Biss) Bracken; children, Lori A. Bracken, of Lebanon, PA, Derek A. (Laine C. Hoffman) Bracken; loving grandchildren, Casen L. and Annika L. Bracken; sister, Beverly A. Bracken; sisters-in-law, Bernice (Edward) Ponczek, Helen Bracken, all of Johnstown, and Evelyn (Edward) Schreier, of Alabama; and numerous nieces and nephews. Forrest proudly served in the United States Air Force and retired from the Johnstown Police Department. Forrest is going to be sadly missed by his family and friends.
