Wissinger, Frederick E., 75, Johnstown, passed away November 21, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. Born June 5, 1941 in Johnstown. Son of the Daniel and Ann (Brindle) Wissinger. Preceded in death by parents; sisters, Elizabeth Omasta and Joyce Hancharick, married to Steve; and infant son. Survived by his devoted and loving wife of 45 years, Dorothy (Nelson) Wissinger; children, Tammy Chorik, married to Mark, Lisa Miller, married to Thomas, and Amy Edmiston, married to Michael; grandchildren, Nicole and Marcus Chorik, Cortney (Miller) Benton, married to Thad, Chad Miller, and Anna and Justin Edmiston; great grandchildren, Hunter Camden, Cali and Tylee Benton; brother Robert, Married to Marie; brother-in-law, Joseph Osmata; and numerous nieces and nephews. Fred retired from Bethlehem Steel and was the former owner of Ash Street Mobil. He was also an avid hunter and sports fan. At Fred’s request, there will be no viewing. A private family service will be held.
