Parks, Garrett E., 26, Johnstown, died March 23, 2016, at home. Born September 20, 1989. Son of Barry Parks and the late Melissa Roberts. Preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Joanne and Harold Parks; maternal grandfather, Robert M. Roberts, and uncle, Timothy M. Roberts. Survived by father and step-mother, Barry and Tianxia Parks, Johnstown; brother, Toby Parks, Johnstown; grandparents, Harry and Doris Dougherty, Johnstown. Also survived by aunts and uncles, Nancy and Jim Brizzi, Parkhill, Lisa and Jim Kinsey, Johnstown, Robert and Crissy Parks, Johnstown, Bernice and Jeffrey Varner, Portage, and James Parks, Florida; and cousins, Jesse Parks and children, Noah, Meadow, and Ariela, Conemaugh, Robert Parks and children, Mykala, Isaac, and Olivia, Pittsburgh, Jeffrey Parks, Colorado, Nicholas Parks, Portage, Michael and Heather Crowe and daughters, Emilia and Everly, Ashley Crowe and fiancee Zack Podrasky and children Bryce and Ryder Podrasky, Mineral Point, Andrew Roberts; and good friend, Todd Stoner. Garrett was a clerk at Martins General Store. He loved animals and enjoyed gaming and watching Anime. Family and friends will be received Monday, March 28, from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc, 1521 Frankstown Rd. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Pastor Michael Christine officiating.
