Obituary

George J. Brown, 68, passed away on October 26, 2025, from complications from diabetes. Born October 15, 1957, to James Robert, Sr., and Mary Ellen (Simmons) Brown. Preceded in death by grandmother, Minnie Brown; father, James Robert Brown, Sr.; mother, Mary Ellen Brown (Simmons); and brother, David. Survived by brothers, James, Harry and wife Patty; sister-in-law, Tina; and numerous nieces and nephews, especially DJ, who is always there when needed. George was employed by Troy Laundry for 23 years where he was head washer man. He also worked at UCP for 23 years as a caregiver until his retirement. George loved music and he had a vast collection of 45s from the 70s that he cherished. He also liked to watch YouTube videos and do puzzle books. He will be deeply missed by his family. There will be no public services.
