Obituary

Beach, George Michael, 59, Salix, died Wednesday, July 30, 2014, at Memorial Medical Center.
Born September 6, 1954, in Arlington, VA; a son of the late Richard and Patricia (Zell) Beach.
George was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Tamara (Thomas) Beach, children, Meghan Crawford and husband Michael, Gainesville, VA, Michael Beach and wife Sarah, Manassas, VA, Matthew Beach and wife Marcey, South Fork, and Kaitlyn Beach, Salix; six grandchildren, Molly and Jordan Brinson, Jordan and Isabelle Crawford, Lillian and Jackson Beach; a sister, Bonnie Clement and husband Michael, Williamsburg, VA; brothers, Richard Beach and wife Kathy, Yellow Springs, WV, John Crites and wife Jackie, Manassas, VA, father and mother-in-law, Lynn and Helen Thomas, Windber; brother-in-law, Keith Thomas and wife Linda, Tacoma, WA, and 11 nieces and nephews.
George loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and a beautiful lawn. He loved America, served in the Army and flew the flag proudly. More than anything he loved his children and grandchildren. They were his shining lights and loves of his life.
Friends will be received at the Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., 1521 Frankstown Rd on Sunday, August 3, 2014, from 2 to 6 p.m. where a service will follow at 6 p.m. with Pastor Earl Butterfield officiating. Military honors by the VFW Post 155 Ritual Team.
Entombment at Richland Cemetery will be private.
