Stewart, Gladys J., 77, Johnstown, died May 13, 2017 at Memorial Medical Center. Born Feb. 7, 1940 to the late George and Minnie (Eppley) Brown. Preceded in death by husband, Charles Kenneth Stewart Jr. Survived by children, Brian; Christine; Daniel married to Dee Dolan; and Timothy Stewart; grandchildren, Dr. Stephen Wilson married to Alyssa Griffith; Danielle Clark; great grandchildren, Caleb, Emmerson, Adelynn, and Annie Wilson; and nephews, George, Robert, and Harry Brown. Gladys graduated from Mercy School of Nursing before becoming a private duty nurse. She loved animals and spending time with her family. Gladys donated regularly to North Shore Animal League, SPECA, and St. Jude’s. She also contributed to Boys Town. All services will be held privately.
