Obituary

Harr, Helen E., 86, Johnstown, passed away March 29, 2016 at her home. Born Oct. 5, 1929 in Johnstown, to the late Metro “Tut” and Mary (Winarchik) Leptich. Preceded in death by son, Brian L. Harr; sisters, Anna “Honey” Kendera (Andrew); Katherine Roman (George); Rose Krawiec (William); Betty Brandes (Otto); brother, John Winarchik (Jay); and brother-in-law Richard Hotham. Survived by loving husband of 67 years, Robert; son, David E. Harr and wife Jenine; daughter-in-law, Regina “Jean” Harr; grandsons, Chance Michael and Denver Alan Harr; sister, Mary Hotham; and numerous nieces and nephews. Helen enjoyed crocheting, was a fabulous cook, and a dedicated homemaker. She worked at the former ACME Bakery as a cake decorator  for a number of years. Helen was a former member of the Cathedral of Saint John Gualbert, Johnstown and a member of Saint Patrick Church, Moxham. Friends will be received Sat. April 2 from 9 a.m. until time of Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick Church in Moxham, Father Walter Moll, officiating.
