Obituary

Lopresti, James J., 85, Johnstown, passed away on February 2, 2025. Born January 27, 1940, to the late Joseph and Rosella (Hoffman) Lopresti. Preceded in death by his loving wife, Margaret Lopresti; daughter, Lori Voeghtly; and great-grandson, Emmett Voeghtly. Survived by children, James Lopresti (Lynnette) and Teresa Ponczek (David); grandchildren, Jalynn Lopresti, Korina Lopresti, Alison Ponczek (John), Megan Ponczek, Bob Voeghtly (Rachel), and Adam Voeghtly; and great-grandchildren, Christian Voeghtly, Lydia Voeghtly, and Elliot Voeghtly. James was a simple man who enjoyed baking and watching TV. He was also proud of his Catholic faith. James will be deeply missed and remembered lovingly by all of his family. Family will receive friends on Thursday, February 6, 2025, from 11:00 am until the time of the memorial service at 1:00 pm. James will be buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
